The Study Habits That Work For Me

by Diana Carpenter
(Las Vegas, Nevada U.S.)

I like to do one subject at a time. I start with setting a day to get all the reading material out of the way. From the lecture or the presentation or the reading in the text book. I always make sure I read the discussion so as I read I can relate my reading to it if it happens to me on the same material.

I also read through the module and see what work I need done so when I read I can go back and find the answer quicker.

I make sure I set about 4 hours for homework and school work. I try to finish as much work as I can. even If I go over 4 hours.

I always use leave post its on areas I do not understand

I found that If I take notes as I read I remember the material better
