About Me

Welcome to Time Management Success! I sincerely hope the articles here will make a positive and lasting difference to the quality of your life and work.

I’m Tim Wilson, the creator of this website. It started in September 2009, two weeks after my wife and I welcomed our third child into the world - how’s that for great time management?!

I live in the East of England, not far from the beautiful university city of Cambridge, where I teach at a large 11-19 school in a faculty that consistently gets great results for the students. I also run time management workshops for staff.

Despite this, I never take work home - one of the many benefits of learning time management skills.

Work is important, but so is a life away from it. For most of us, the quality of both can be significantly improved if we know what matters to us and do it. It took me years to work out that every minute spent not doing what matters each day is one less minute doing what does.

So what matters to me?

Being with the people I love, making a difference to others and “scratching the itches” I feel in my life.

Striking a healthy balance between the three is, for me, what time management is all about. It’s an ongoing challenge that we can never perfect, but always improve.

Excellent personal time management is the foundation for a better quality of life. If we improve how we use our time we all benefit, personally and collectively.

That’s why I study time management. It’s also partly why I set up this website.

How I built it is another story...

Money is nice. But time matters more. It can’t be saved, stored, borrowed or stolen. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Even if you live to 80, that works out at just 960 months on this planet.

So what can you do?

Squeeze the very best out of yours.

Time Management Success gives you the tools you need to do just that. Make the most of every day and do what matters.

Whatever your reasons for what you do, better time management will help you do it better and faster so you can spend more time doing what you want to do.

Whether you want to earn more, learn more, or just spend more time doing whatever else matters most to you, the tools, techniques, ideas and resources offered on this website will help you improve every aspect of your life.
